Cancelling your service

If you would like to cancel your account, please notify Hit Director using the instructions below:

 

*IMPORTANT* - hosting and domains are separate so please follow instructions below to cancel one or both.

 

---TO CANCEL WEB HOSTING---

In order to verify that you are the actual owner of the account, you will need to log into your Hit Director account manager 

(client area): https://secure.hitdirector.com/clientarea.php

 

Log into the client area
Click on the "My Services" tab at the top.
Find service you want to cancel and click on the "green arrow" button to the right of the service.
Scroll to the very bottom of the page and click  "Request Cancellation"
Choose if you want immediate cancellation or end of billion period, then click  "Request Cancellation"

 

You will no longer be automatically billed via credit card.   

** If you have a PayPal subscription setup you need to cancel it at PayPal**
Login to paypal
Click the "My Profile Tab"
Find "M
y preapproved payments" and click on the update link beside it

Click on the merchant you wish to deactivate.
Next to Status click "Cancel"

This is the ONLY way to cancel your hosting account and/or domain since we do not monitor sites or know when or if you have closed, moved, not used, cancelled subscriptions. It is your responsibility to close your account.

 

---TO CANCEL YOUR DOMAIN---

Log into your client area
Click on "My Domains"
Find your domain listed and click the button to the right that says "Manage Domain"
Click on "Auto Renew"
Click the button that says "Disable Autorenew"

 

This is the ONLY way to cancel your hosting account and/or domain since we do not monitor sites or know when or if you have closed, moved, not used, cancelled subsriptions. It is your responsibility to close your account.
